Madeline Lucas is a professional flutist and personnel manager based in Northeast Ohio. She earned a BM and an MM from The Cleveland Institute of Music where she studied with Joshua Smith. Madeline is a contemporary music specialist and has participated in several US and world premiers. Recently, she has been seen in concert at The Kennedy Center and The Cleveland Museum of Contemporary Art in addition to numerous chamber and solo recital performances. She is the personnel manager and flutist for FiveOne Experimental Orchestra and the flutist in Digital Bird Duo with pianist Shuai Wang. She has appeared with The Cleveland Orchestra Blossom Festival Band and Orchestra and The Charlotte Symphony and is principal flute of The Ohio Philharmonic.
